I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was good, company was good, and now I am getting excited about Christmas! I go in and out of missing my dad, but I am taking a day at a time with all those feelings. Got my tree set up and tomorrow I'll decorate it with lots of old ornaments.  What do you put on your tree?

Our last haul from the garden this year!

I have had a busy year, and lost my dad in May. I have been healing slowly, but at times it is not fast enough for me. Since Dad became sick, my creativity has been pretty stagnant.... I am wondering if it will ever return! I have so many thoughts and ideas, I'm sure this dark night of my soul will pass in time.

Hi! I have been working on some Valentine prettys, and I have needed so badly to get back to my crafting and beadwork! It is great therapy for my soul~ And...I have really needed to just "play" with glitter, color, and beads! My life is going through alot of changes right now, and crafting helps me to get grounded and centered when I am off in neverland~

Well, I have been neglectful and gone from here a long time! Just wanting to update a little~ Back at my art and jewelry and hopefully will be posting and working on this site alot more. My partner and I have been busy trying to open a store!

Storage Autions

These are some treasures I found at an estate sale last year... Going to a storage auction today and hope to find some nice things! I'm still dreamin' of having my store someday. May be getting closer!

Woo Hoo! I love the fall, the crisp air (when it decides to be crisp out here in the hell heat of Arizona!)
I've already been crafting and altering. Also will be posting some new pictures of jewelry.
Halloween is coming! Are any of you making things for the holidays yet?

Summer Time and Busy!

 Hey it's been a busy spring and now summer! I haven't posted for quite awhile. Work, gardening, flower beds, new plants, vacation.... You know the drill!

Lots of smoke out here in Arizona. Seems like fire (Some would say Mother Nature) takes control when we leave everything to the environment. Out of control natural growth of trees, shrubs, grass.... add drought, and stupid people and you have FIRE!
Take away grazing rights from ranchers and add lightening or more stupid people  and we have raging fires, and destroyed homes and lives.
Spiritual beliefs and Earth Spirituality are one thing... common sense is another.   What can I say? I've always been a rebel, even amongst some of my Pagan, Wiccan, and Christian friends! I follow my own conscience, not the crowd.

On a lighter note, Lovin' the rivers around here! If ya get tired of fishing, then go swimming!

The flowers are doing great!

My flowers are spreading... This desert "Blahhhh" bugged me so much when I moved out here, and Mike hadn't had time to flowerscape, so I plant more in more of our yards every year!

The garden is growing very well this year! Mike is an awesome gardener! The more he sees growing, the more he wants to plant.... MAYBE he will eat some of it this year??? LOL!

I Love Estate Sales!

I went to an estate sale over the weekend and found some beautiful glass. A Jadeite powder /trinket dish, a gorgeous 1969 Jim Beam Bourbon whiskey bottle, a collectible Avon dish with top, some old pictures and frames, and TONS of lace and ribbon for sewing! I also got a beautiful little covered butter dish from Ebay and when I put it in my curio cabinet, it matched my little white milk glass pitcher! They look so awesome side by side!

I am a grandma again! Born February 2nd, 2010, and he is so BEAUTIFUL!!! Just like his mama!

WOO-HOO!

Spring is here and that means time for planting and growing! Time to get my flower beds going again, and fixing new areas for planting more flowers....

Since last year, we have new fruit trees and some grape vines. Can't wait for them to produce!

Haven't been here in a while, having some computer issues, and now I see some blog issues too....the reindeer from christmas wont go away when I try to edit him out!

Things To Do While post-op

Having surgery can slow ya down....so can quitting smoking! Now if I can just keep my hands moving before all the inspiration leaves! Hahahaha!
Hair clip with seed beads and pearls, a peyote sitch free form bracelet, afree-form necklace with a shell and toggle as the clasp and focal piece, some beautiful faceted green glass came alive with some antique looking chain and bead caps.

Started the new year off great....CREATING! YEAH!
